not related to your problem, but I think you're not using sync the way most would think of it here. Sync means you have two or more SB players "synched" to play exactly the same thing (perfectly timed). What you are reporting is the Controller shows what the transporter is playing. That's correct behavior (and not what one would call synching). The Controller can control any SB player (the duet receiver, the transporter, SB3, boom, touch, radio, etc.). So within the Controller menu, if you've chosen "transporter" as the player (under choose player), whatever is playing on the transporter will show up on the controller screen, and you can control the transporter (choose songs, change volume, etc.)
Another test on your problem. Can you move the transporter temporarily so that it is connected via ethernet cable to your router, then do a factory reset on the transporter. Just trying to reduce the number of variables (wifi, etc.). And yes, the transporter is a very nice addition to a music system. It is the central point of my system. -- garym System 1: Vortexbox Appliance (1.5) > SbS 7.5.4 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) System 2: Win7(64) laptop > SbS 7.6.1 > Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio and laptop) Retired: SB3, Duet Receiver Controlled at both locations with: iPhone (iPeng), iPad (iPengHD & SqueezePad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.6 on Win7(64) laptop Ripping (FLAC) - dbpoweramp, Additional Tagging - mp3tag ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90180 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
