I read Hifi Choice this month (no that's not the red alert). Now I suggest getting away from any fragile objects before reading on.
Malcolm Stewart (that noted doyen of information theorists)reports that differences have been reported in music stored on different hard drives. probably no surprise with MS who has already reported all amnner of nonsense. However I see from the hifi Critic forum that Martin Collums is cross that the research, which was in fact for hifi critic, has been leaked. http://www.hificritic.com/Forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=733 He says the results were "surprising". I think we all know what that means (although truthfully it would probably turn out to be surprising if the results from hifi journalism were not bonkers.) Myself, I think equally good results can be obtained by burning the nearest witch. -- adamdea ------------------------------------------------------------------------ adamdea's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37603 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90312 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
