Click on the link I posted and scroll down to the picture which shows what is included with the Big Joe III. You'll see that a pair of speaker cables with RJ-45 connectors at one end and banana plugs on the other end. Until I saw the BJ III I too had never seen RJ-45 connectors used for speakers so I guess it is "some new thing".
