I have what seems to be some sort of network problem but could be a
problem with the Transporter (hence the posting here).

I have a networked system with a mix of ethernet and wifi connections.
Currently active are:

Transporter (ethernet)
Duet Receiver (wifi)
Boom (wifi)

LMS is running on a Fit-PC2, on 24/7. I control the system with a
Controller, usually.

The context:

I was having some problems with my old router, and bought a new one, a
decent mid-scale D-Link. The wifi on the old router quit. My problems
started at that time, but is likely a coincidence. It was at that same
point that my new BB Playbook was being introduced, and the wifi quit
mid-setup. Anyway.

The problem is as follows:

My normal course is to fire up the Transporter using the Controller.
The Controller reports the Transporter and the Boom as being available
(but not the Receiver), but the Transporter is not defaulting as the
player. When I try to select it, the system asks me for my library; I
choose the FitPC (which is the name of the library), and it reports it
can't connect to server.

However, I find that I CAN connect to the Boom (functioning
wirelessly), and the FitPC library is shown as what is active. I can
play all the music through the Boom. The Receiver, which is also
functioning wirelessly, does not show up at all.

I've tried turning on the Transporter manually, and it comes up
initially and then reports that it can't connect to the server. I've
checked the connections and they seem to be fine. The router is
obviously working, as this note is passing through it from my main
computer on its way to the Board, and I am able to "see" the FitPC
through UltraVNC.

I should note that I can choose network through the Controller, which
is named Dlink2, and connect. At initial connection I provided the WPA
password successfully, and it has not asked for it again when a
re-connection to the Dlink is forced.

I have this sinking feeling the problem might be the Transporter, but
that isn't really making a lot of sense.

Thoughts?
