Ha! I found you Andy!!! We could always fit a spdif in on your Teac. Then you could properly tell the difference between the 2 transports!
I'm running my highly modded SB3 into my Audio Aero Capitole CD which also has several spdif inputs. This means I can swap between CD and flac through the same D to A and just hear the transport differences.
