It was definitely the single malt. It was definitaly the heady aroma of Tokyo back streets. And today it is definitely the fact that my room sucks. At one point did measurements to apply DRC, and could see how dismal the room is. Sadly, it is what it is, happens to be the only real option for my system, and is under strict WAF control. I believe it is absolutely true that the best bang for your buck, and one of the most important components in your system is the space. But away from home over a weekend in a dedicated Man-Cave-Apartment, nearly soundproofed, and with a few friends over... Oh my, what sessions we had.
