Apparently you missed the part where I did suggest to isolate his
server from the touch with a wireless bridge.  If a PC is injecting
crap on the the Ethernet network, changing priorities and killing
processes isn't going to stop it from happening, it's hardware related.
Find a way to disconnect it, a dedicated wireless bridge is a perfect
way to do that.  Though the bridge on the touch side might also inject
noise.
