A few years ago I had the opportunity to replace all the wiring in my house with unwaxed dental floss. Upon reconnecting my stereo I immediately noticed that things sounded about 10 orders of magnitude better.
The sound was cleaner, as if a layer of plague had been removed. There was more space between all the instruments as if whatever debris had been somehow stuck between them was removed. And finally the sound was much brighter, in fact so bright that it was also white. These improvements were not just limited to my audio system. On my video system everyone's smile was much brighter. My electric toothbrush never cleaned so thoroughly.
