I agree there were problems with the old pressings. Certainly not everything from back in the mid-80's was good. However, I do have 18 or so CD's which have pre-emphasis in my ~5000 CD collection (my first CD bought in 1987). Some good pre-emph'ed ones include: - Abbey Road (Black Triangle) - DSOTM (Black Triangle) - Genesis S/T (German 1st Pressing) - Genesis - Land Of Confusion (Japanese Black Triangle) - MJ - Off The Wall - MJ - Thriller - Wings Greatest steveinaz: I think so too.
