I forgot to mention a CD I use to test my setup is "Amused to Death" by
Roger Waters who was part of Pink Floyd. When the system is set up
properly, one can hear sound from 90 degrees to the left and 90 degrees
to the right. It uses a technology called QSound:

IMO, it is a good $15 for testing your system alone...

Most of my audiophile friends' systems cannot achieve that. This CD was
introduced to me by a former co-worker who is also an audiophile. This
guy probably has spent over $250,000 for his setup, excluding room
treatment. Each of his main speakers has 2 15" woofer. His monoblock is
about 100lbs each and is rated 450watts and has a bandwidth of 1 MHz.
