It's worth bearing in mind that the cal file simply compensates for fixed frequency response anomolies; if the mic is behaving oddly with regard to its polar response that implies something beyond just level variations with frequency.... like variations with time/phase... very odd. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
