Wow - I'm really confused now. So you were using a target curve from someone else? - ouch. You SHOULD be using the target correction curve that AL generates for you, based on its desire to flatten your measurement curve. Sure you can tweak that curve a bit (for example, most people like to roll-off the top end a bit) and you need to adjust the overall gain (vertical scaling/position) of the curve to avoid any large corrective boosts - you may not have any of these. I've been using DRC since 2004 (TACT) and the measurement/curve side is essentially the same as AL. It DOES take time to do the measurements properly and then tweak the curve to YOUR liking... but NEVER use someone else's correction curve data! -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
