Hello,

Yesterday I was fiddling around with the Squeezebox and accidentally
managed to pull out one of the interconnects while the system was on.
Now (and this might just be me) I find the music sounds very tin-like,
lacking in bass, punch or image.

I downloaded some phase check files from
http://www.audiocheck.net/audiotests_polaritycheck.php, but the results
were inconclusive. Example, for the rumble test the in-phase was bassier
than the out-of-phase, but for the sine tone the out-of-phase was
*noticeably* louder than the in phase, and the in-phase guitar did
actually sound in-phase and better than the out-of-phase.

I tried switching the polarity of one speaker and it sounded a bit
worse.

Is this in my head, or could the phase have really gone off because of
the unplugged interconnect? Is there a way for to conclusively confirm,
and correct this problem?

The stations that sound particularly bad are Guitar Spirit on Radionomy
and The Eagle on ShoutCast. Both are rock stations, and the sound comes
across as a bit shrill and harsh.

Thank you.
