I'm happy to have that discussion here - I can't see what changes are that would have caused differences in audio quality. Unfortunately the squeezeplay applet installer does not make it easy to install old versions of an app - it maintains a single version which will be installed for new installs so other than posting specific files for people to manually install its not easy to go back to the old version. In the case of EDO 0.6 vs 0.7 the only thing which _could_ have caused audio impact are changes in the jive_alsa binary as this is the only changed item which processes audio. However I don't believe the minor change between 0.6 and 0.7 should impact this...
