I think you can use an Audiopilleo with the Touch. I don't have one so I can't be sure. It sounds like it is uac2 compatible so it should work with the Touch. You DO need EDO in order to use a USB audio device with the Touch. Will it be better than the coax out from the Touch? Who knows, that is VERY dependent on the DAC. For some DACs it won't make a difference, for some it will be better and there will probably be some for which it sounds worse.
