Well I dont mind the processing and close-mic stuff per se. Like Johnny Cashs much praised work with Rick Rubin on American Recordings. Sounds fab to me, but it doesnt sound particularily supernatural and the voice tracks are recorded close-mic and compressed. Its a bit "theatrical" sounding, but I think thats the intention and in that context their great
