and yet even Steve Nugent claims to hear differences between computer
transports and software players, I suppose he is a fool as well. The
more I read about how to program a music player the more it becomes
apparent that digital music is an illusion and what you are hearing is
the computer and there are many compromises along the way. Perhaps the
head in the sand approach of Ralph and Gary is the best, bits are bits
and just pretend your listening to music instead of computer generated
noise.
