Have any examples in mind? If you are sticking to 60s-mid 80s pop/rock, then, while there may not be a worthy remaster, there is likely an original that has been forgotten about. We already discussed Bowie, which was a situation where the original West German (for European market) manufactured CDs had preferable masterings to the original Japan (for US market) manufactured CDs. And either of those would best the Rhino remasters (yuck). Bowie is an example where it's not easy to get the originals. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jh901's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18175 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98249 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
