I don't mean to be starting trouble but why is a mono Beatles any more or less valid than a mono, acoustic Louie Armstrong recording? By the way I say "acoustic" because many of the early jazz recordings where just that: fully acoustic since the use of electricity in recording had been developed, just musicians, a megaphone, needle and a wax cylinder. Of course audiophile recordings in those days used only 100% virgin beeswax cylinders :) and jitter really did refer to the actual moving up and down of the recording needle. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: AcousticSession.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14680| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98249 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
