I don't mean to be starting trouble but why is a mono Beatles any more
or less valid than a mono, acoustic Louie Armstrong recording? By the
way I say "acoustic" because many of the early jazz recordings where
just that: fully acoustic since the use of electricity in recording had
been developed, just musicians, a megaphone, needle and a wax cylinder.
Of course audiophile recordings in those days used only 100% virgin
beeswax cylinders :) and jitter really did refer to the actual moving up
and down of the recording needle.
