I am happy about the resurgence of LPs. Not because it supposedly have
"better quality" - that is BS, the support itself induce audible issues
- but because there is a way better contact with the music when you have
something physical, visible, that you know translates to audible sound.
You need a better respect toward your playbacks with a hardware LP than
with a digital MP3 that you can simply redownload.

Plus, the support with its audible issues, has some more personal feel.

I introduced my toddlers to vinyl. They like the contact. I need to find
them a kid's turntable and get them their own records, but they enjoy
the handling of the music, that you don't get with MP3s, FLAC or even on
CDs, which could as well be USB discs being that you only put it in and
wait for the reader to do the job.

Vinyl is an experience, different to "listening to music" - plus, they
are generally dirt cheap at flea markets.
