I wasn't referring that "listening to music" is more enjoyable with records than anything else. But I was pointing out in answer to that "some people buy vinyls. why do they buy vinyls. its not a good music support" comment - there IS something interesting with handling vinyls. Just like there is something interesting in handling photography (VS digital ones, on ipad or whatnot) or there is something interesting in handling a physical paper (VS reading your news on the web) Digital has benefits, but there is still something to be gained from non-digital, even if only for the experience of it. I personally listend to music solely on digital, except when I want to purposely put on a vinyl. On the other hand, I barely ever "listend" to CDs or DVDs - they are there to be ripped and stored on the server. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Marsupial's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59182 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98603 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
