Actually Ralph I disagree, I think milled billet fronts and the like are a massive psychological boost to Audiophiles. As you would freely admit to yourself what we hear when using a HiFi is massively influenced by factors other than the actual science with our own prejudices and human failings having a disproportionate influence. To that end HiFi that looks, feels and smells like HiFi can be a big factor for lots of folks.
