Thats actually not contested , people in this tread claim that the diffrences are for "other reasons" the streams are bit perfect Yes PCM is fallbacl unless you configure that away too :P you disable flac and leave the wav entry enabled in the settings fir file type flac . The enabled possibilities is used in quality order unless a player is bitrate limited then that has override Fyi these settings are not really thier for soundqulity but for compatibility with the bewildering range of possible servers and players out there and also folks who opt for alternative transcoder apps .
