Yes tag support in WAV is not as robust and well suported as in FLAC either so you library experience migth bennefit too . The possible gotchas are you get sligtky more server load with transcoding and the network load almost doubles ,player load seems about the same . If the players are wired it wont matter much a Wifi conected Touch can struggle with 24/96 wav btw . Fyi , the basic setting for WAV is to transcode WAV files to Flac to conserve bandwith . If you still have wav files you migth have a look at that too. I do believe that you percieve a difference . I dont beleive that there -is- a diffrence .
