GaryM, I used mono files (Miles Davis original mono recordings, Dave Brubeck Time Out and Beach Boys Pet Sounds) for test.
Julf, I will try with more frequency but my friend and I did the test just as you say. In blind mode. I did my own test version blinded to. My wife did connection without me seeing her do it.
