We're all free to experience music however we want, knowing that
experience itself is subjective.
However, it's just plain dumb to assert that the TRUTH of differences
between alternate configurations can be knowable only subjectively. If
you actually want to check on your experiential conclusions, you need to
demonstrate a few things:
- Are you able to reliably tell the cables apart when you are only
hearing them, and not seeing them?
- If you can reliably tell them apart, do you prefer one over the
other?
- If you prefer one over the other, is it the same choice as when you
were doing a non-blind test?
If you come through these simple tests with your conclusions still
clear, then all credit to you!
