I don't have much of a disagreement w/you on the issue of American politics and the outrageous campaign contribution laws. However, to the issue at hand, please describe just exactly how Stereophile is possibly lying in THIS case? I don't recall Stereophile ever making any statements--other than the existence of their John Swenson's byline---to the effect that John Swenson the writer is one and the same as John Swenson, the engineer. If anybody is doing some fibbing (which I'm quite doubtful of) it's John Swenson the engineer denying that he's John Swenson the music reviewer.
