It's low volume economics too. Any company making a product in the UK for a market in the hundreds or low thousands just isn't able to compete financially. So to some extent you DO expect these companies to have to charge more. To some extent.. not gonna tell you that any particular price is justified. Whether there's a technical difference between that they produce and what the mass market players produce is of course open to debate but remember technical performance is rarely the one and only decision making factor for most buyers..
