Truth be told just about everything you do will change the sound if you do audiophile-type listening tests - IOW don't match levels, don't time synch the music, don't quick switch and by all means don't keep people from knowing which of the alternatives they are listening to at all times. Of course science tells us that audiophile-type listening tests aren't really listening tests at all. They test biases and preconceived notions, not actual sound quality.
