What I'm trying to say is that with a dedicated endpiont like a squeezebox Touch or PI is that all playback "issues" are moved to the player . The server plays no audio at all .
You can have jitter and all other well known audio problems on the player, thats the whole piont . Server can be whatever is up to the task .
