Arny, I think you've mistaken the point I'm trying to make. Dave was asking about doing his own listening test, and I was pointing out serious problems with us punters doing this kind of thing and then labelling the results as conclusive (generally, they're not).
Well organised tests are possible and have been done. But as you seem to agree, this takes a lot of doing.
