An AuditNet user posed the following questions that I
am passing along to the group for input/feedback.

Thanks,

Jim

The external auditors have requested listings of the
firewall rules and a network map of all servers. The
IT folks regard this as highly sensitive information.
We requested that they execute a non-disclosure
agreement. We met with stiff resistance. Should
external reviewers of sensitive information be
required to sign a non-disclosure agreement?

What is/are the rules for external auditors regarding
reliance on work performed by other reviewing
agencies? We are TrueSecure Certified and our
external Auditors would not rely on that
certification.
