Dear Abdul,
Where else have you looked? What are your audit objectives? You have asked the subscribers for specific help on a general question. There are audit guides available from the FDIC site that may help you but you need to be more specific with your request. There are also other sites besides AuditNet that have repositories of audit work programs.
I constantly refer subscribers to Protiviti KnowledgeLeader, a fee based subscription site. AuditNet users may sign up for a free 30 day trial subscription. They have an inventory of audit work programs, audit guides, checklist and other information that may help.
Also you should consider Internet meta-information. Find firms similar to yours on the Internet and locate an email contact. See if they have an internal audit department and ask for a contact. Call or email them and ask them if they have conducted audits of investment research and would they be willing to share audit checklists or other material.
Auditors needs to consider more than just the Internet when searching for information. Also auditors need to accept the fact that what they are looking for may not be available for free but will require an "investment".
My 2 cents!
Jim

Dear all,
After getting blank response on my question below, I would like to try my luck again with you guys but on other subject, i.e. Audit Programme on Investment Research. I have referred to auditnet and found nothing relevant to my needs. So folks, if you happen to possess the above audit programme and willing to share with me, I would appreciate it very much if you could send me a copy.
Thank you.

Subject: E-mail disclaimer
Dear all,
I have a question on the above matter, particularly to those who work with organisation that make it a policy for every outgoing e-mail to be attached with disclaimer/caution, such as the two e-mails below.
My question is, does the disclaimer legally protect the sender/organization from potential problems arising from unauthorised dissemination, distribution or reproduction of the e-mail contents?
Thank you.

Subject: RE: Career Night Presentation
Dear Mr. Mahoney,
These are just some thoughts that came to mind:
(1) what is auditing ? Types of auditing e.g. financial, operational, IT, government audit etc . . .
(2) Career prospects/opportunities
(3) Informing them of certification such as the CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE etc... that they can take if they are interested (provide them the web site on these certification)
(4) Average pay scale (this would definitely inspired interest and questions)
(5) Working hours, traveling, flexibility is required on the job etc . . .
(6) What are the attributes to a good auditor ? e.g. ethics, personalities
(7) How to get a job in auditing when you are a fresh graduate ? (they will certainly need advice on this)
(8) the big four now ?
Good luck and have a successful presentation.
Regards,
Eliza Hee

Subject: Career Night Presentation
Hi:
I am going to part of a presentation on careers in internal audit at a local college. Does anyone have some ideas of scripts for a good presentation to a group of college students.
Thanks
