Don and other subscribers, If you are at all familiar with listserves you would realize that the moderator (in this case me) has no control over the software. I sent the message ONCE and only ONCE. Because a user activated an auto responder along with a reply to list command that another subscriber recommended it caused that message to enter a loop.
As a clarification SPAM is intentional. What happened with the list today was unintentional. If anyone questions that then I would recommend that you consider removing yourself from this list because you do not know me or truly understand the concept of listserves. I will be developing new guidelines for using AuditNet listserves including the issue of auto responders and the use of offensive language. There is no excuse for using offensive language and embarrassing others because of an obvious error. I pay for the listserve service from my Web host. I have complained to them about the software and the problems and they recognize that. They are discontinuing the use of the imailsrv and will be offering a new listserv program in the future. In the meantime I have paid for this service and do not charge subscribers any fee. I offer it as a service to the community. While there are a large number of subscribers to the list, there are very few that offer any support including relevant messages etc. Of all the messages I received today only one of them even addressed the content of the original message. The purpose of a discussion list like this is to generate discussion and share ideas on relevant topics. If you are only interested in taking but not giving back in the form of discussion or ideas then perhaps this list is not for you. If you are unhappy with this free service that I offer then you are free to unsubscribe. This list is opt-in which means that you subscribed on your own. If you want to opt-out then please follow the directions for unsubscribing at the bottom of this email. Unsubscribe messages need to be sent to the listserv software address which is [EMAIL PROTECTED] NOT THE LIST ADDRESS. When you send an unsubscribe message to the LIST ADDRESS all of the subscribers are getting it. That generates NOISE or unwanted email. I can't remember how many times it goes out of control and sends messages like this!
