Jim: I for one value your contributions to the internal audit profession, and am grateful that you are part of it. Thank you.
What happened today is a lesson all auditors should heed, "reacting to a situation instead of responding to it". If we conducted our audits in this manner; jumping to conclusions without researching the conditions and issues, using unprofessional communications, and acting impulsively, we would soon lose any credibility in our organizations or profession. I understand that most of the responses were due to a lack of training or background with listserves. After the first couple of audio responses, I blocked the sender. "The key to wisdom is plain and simple to express, to error and error and error again, but less and less and less."
