Hello JR,

> How about /system/ramroot and /system/roroot?

bingo, with "/system/ramroot" every thing works fine.
with "/system/roroot" I get the segmentation fault.

Because I'm generating a tmpfs ramdisk at boot-time in the init-scripts, I
thought, there could be a problem (directory-loop or so). The ramdisk is
mounted at /var and /tmp becomes a link to /var/tmp.
I changed the init-script with /var and /tmp as ordinary directories.
The problem remains. If I do the suggested find on /system/roroot I get the
segmentation fault.
