What did you export actually?
For instance, you have two branches in your aufs.
/aufs = /rw + /ro
And did you export /aufs or /r[wo]?
If you want to export /aufs, did you enable CONFIG_AUFS_EXPORT and
specify fsid at exporting?
And your branches must support exporting too.
