Yes, aufs4-mmap.patch is for the kernel itself. But I've downloaded and checked debian pkg linux-source-4.19 version 4.19.67-2+deb10u1, and found the patch is already applied. Great debian. :-) It means aufs4-mmap.patch is unrelated to this problem. Ouch. Could you put your /live/image iso9660 file somewhere I can reach, so that I will try man(1) command on aufs with tmpfs+iso9600. J. R. Okajima
