I think their cmake files are a bit chaotic for the moment. I have created an issue upstream and add a patch to the PKGBUILD so it generates the package without the .git directories.

They are all .so files, and using strings I find there are always mentions to .pyx and .cxx files using the full path. Best wishes, Iyán
