Smoolak [1] filed an adoption request for datamodel-code-generator [2]: I would like to adopt datamodel-code-generator. I maintain python- dspy, which requires it for tests, and also need it among the test dependencies for Unsloth's MCP integration. The current AUR version passed our build and installation checks, but it is orphaned and several versions behind upstream. I would review the changes from 0.32.0 to 0.85.0 and check compatibility with Arch's Python and Pydantic. Before publishing updates, I would run the upstream tests and generate models from JSON Schema and OpenAPI examples. I would check the generated models with the packaged Pydantic version and investigate regressions reported by users.
