Its only AUR consumer is in a similar state, also discontinued since 2018 and is unbuildable due to other downstream failures. Submitted for deletion (PRQ#46370). Moreover, this relied on a custom wrapper for hiredis, called eredis (eredis-git on AUR); that is also discontinued and is not compatible anymore with the current hiredis version in repo.
