Thanks Col Speaking from experience, I recently upgraded my old, light green, Pajero for a Black later model Pajero, emphasis on Black.
Subjectively, it is no hotter than the green one and cools at about the same rate once the aircon is switched on. I agree with Mike, the biggest influencing factor is the glass, not the colour.
