VH-GAQ isn't available.

It used to be on the Junior's Blanik. It has now resurfaced on a venerable
old K8.

I dare say the CASA register will catch up at some point!

Cheers

Subject: Re: [Aus-soaring] Glider Registration

You can download the current CASA register in an csv file here:
http://services.casa.gov.au/CSV/acrftreg.csv

As of today there are 1269 VH registered gliders and motorgliders.

Of that 1269, there are 608 gliders and motor gliders including 45 Blaniks
with registration VH-G__.

There are also 40 powered aircraft and rotorcraft with VH-G__ registration.

This leaves 28 unallocated VH-G__ registrations out of a possible 676. You
can search the list of available aircraft registrations at this file:
http://services.casa.gov.au/CSV/availablemarks.pdf and if there's one you
like, here <https://www.casa.gov.au/standard-page/reserving-mark> is the
process to reserve it (via the GFA to CASA). I don't know why there are no
VH-G__ marks in the available listing so it's possible they are reserved by
the GFA. You can work out the available G__ registrations by process of
elimination with the register. There seems to be a lag in updating the
register because the RAAF Williamtown Club deregistered Blaniks GUZ and GVG
months ago and they are still on the register.
