Good morning all I will shortly install a second Flarm antenna to my ASH 30 Mi but I need some help as I’m unsure of its optimum position.
My Powerflarm Core (and its antenna) are mounted under the glare shield of the rear instrument panel and hence directly behind the front seat pilot. I feel that this might attenuate the FLARM signal and therefore I’m keen to place the second antenna for optimum reception. Advice already received indicates that the second antenna is best installed well clear of the first (primary) one. If anyone has done something similar I would love to hear the results. I would also welcome further advice from specialists in this field.
