Id say yeah . Every glider and pilot is scruintinered over the scales.. 
depended on whether theyd be over weight depending on the steak night at the 
pub prior... i dont. 
If we are talking about a well known pilot an friend on mine spiralling in. 
Make your own conclusions butn he had been flying that glider for a fair while. 
A weight issue doesnt seem to fit...
