You could also study the bending of METAL winged aircraft such as the
Boeing 747-400 series and in particular the Boeing B52. Their wing-tips
move upwards some 17 feet or so at the tips once max weight lifting force
is applied.

I don't think FRP, CRP, plastic or superglue would allow the same amount of
anglular PENETRATION.
