Subject: [HG] Re: HG death in BC? accident aren’t sure of what happened. I will point out what we know. He was low, he contacted High Voltage lines and died. As for the rest of what I have read it is incorrect speculation by people who were not near the crash site. What needs to be said is that there was a terrible accident, a pilot lost his life and a wife and daughters lost their father. We may never know exactly what caused this tragedy, but will need time to get all the facts, which we will get out in the hopes of preventing a reoccurrence of such accident. I think the speculation hurts the sport, especially when it is incorrect. If you wish to help please visit http://www.westcoastsoaringclub.com/forum_toc.htm and join our efforts to give aid to the family of our fallen pilot.
