At the instigation of John Ashford, GFA life membership for Harry Schneider was endorsed at the GFA ACM, and at Harry's suggestion links to the Schneider contribution to gliding in Australia, including by Edmund Snr. The hope is to be able to make a formal presentation to Harry scvhneider & family at the Wed of the National Vintage Regatta at the Barossa Valley Gliding Club 9th January 2002. (The above is not an official announcement, just my understanding of what is going on because I tend to float around the gliding system, continuously being asked by lots of people to do various little jobs.
