At Adelaide University Gliding Club, Lochiel Airfield, yesterday (Saturday 13th October 2001).
The wind started out from the nor'west, swung sou'westerly with the ridge working quite well after the cloud lifted. The wind swung southerly with the ridge dying suddenly (4 aircraft coming home all of a sudden). Kept flying, and there was cloud associated lift to 2400'. Many annual flight reviews finished off, lots of training. Flew until last light. A pretty good day, followed by a big BBQ, Cheers, Michael -- * You are subscribed to the aus-soaring mailing list. * To Unsubscribe: send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] * with "unsubscribe aus-soaring" in the body of the message * or with "help" in the body of the message for more information.
