What I've understood as a Cockeyed Bob is a mini-tornado generated by a
squall line associated with either a cold front or a thunderstorm. The
Rockingham-Mandurah corridor on the West Coast south of Perth always
gets a few roofs lifted by cockeyed bobs usually with the first fronts
of winter.

Regards,

John.
